국문 초록

본 연구에서는 심리운동 프로그램이 발달지체유아의 의사소통능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 장애전문 어린이집에 재원중인 발달지체유아 16명을 선정하여 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 8명을 배치하였다. 실험집단에게는 10주간 자유선택활동 시간을 이용하여 의사소통능력의 하위요소를 고려하여 구성한 심리운동 프로그램을 총 18회 실시하였다. 그 결과, 심리운동 프로그램은 발달지체유아의 의사소통능력 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 의사소통능력의 하위요소인 언어적 상호작용의 긍정적 행동과 부정적 행동, 비언어적 상호작용의 긍정적 행동과 부정적 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 볼 때, 심리운동 프로그램은 발달지체유아의 의사소통능력을 향상시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This research investigates the effects of psychomotor program on the communicative competence of young children with developmental delays. In this study, communicative competence is defined by verbal and nonverbal communication of both positive and negative behaviors. The results of this study are as follows. First, it can be confirmed that psychomotor program has an effect on the overall communicative competence of children with developmental delays. Second, psychomotor program is effective especially on linguistic interaction among children’s communicative competence. Third, it can be confirmed that psychomotor program has an effect primarily on the non-verbal interaction among the communicative competence of children with developmental delays. The results of this study show positive effects of psychomotor program on the communicative competence of children with developmental delays. We believe this study will be used as a valuable resource for all individual and professional developmental in the future.
