고령자 소비자의 경제적 안정감에 대한 건강상태의 영향 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 다양한 건강상태 관련 변인 중 만성질환의 영향력을 중심으로 경제적 안정성과의 관련성을 파악하여 노인의 건강증진 및 삶의 질 향상에 초점을 맞춰 노년기 행복감을 향상시킬 수 있는 데 기여할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구 자료와 대상은 한국노동연구원의 고령화연구패널(KLoSA)이며, 기본 자료의 65세 이상 노인 4,155명을 분석 대상으로 하였다. 분석방법은 기술통계, 평균간 차이 검증, 카이제곱 검증, 프라빗 분석을 실시하였다. 노인들이 경제적 안정감을 측정하기 위해 적정도와 안정도의 개념을 활용항 노인 계층을 각기 소득빈곤자, 순자산빈곤자, 소득 및 순자산 빈곤자, 유동성 자산 빈곤자, 소득 및 유동성 자산 빈곤자로구분하였다. 이를 통해 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 노인들의 경제적 안정감의 차이, 빈곤노인의 소득 및 자산원천별 보유비율, 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 만성질환의 정도 및 보유 만성질환의 수 차이, 프라빗 분석을 통해 노인의 경제적 안정감에 대한 건강수준의 영향력을 각각 측정하였다. 이를 통해 노년기 노인들의 삶의 질이 향상되고, 생의 안정감을 지속적으로 느끼며 실질적인 복지감 향상에 기여할 수 있는 성공적인 노후 생활이 영위하기 위한 지원하고 사회적 노력의 방향성을 논의하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide basic perspectives in order to understand our current aging society focusing on the improvement of the quality of later life and promoting health condition among the elderly. Also, this study is to offer the policy directions for the elderly in order to enhance the economic security in the later life in terms of the impact of co-morbidity as well as various health condition of the elderly. The object of this study is Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA) of Korea Labor Institute, and 4,155 of the elderly over 65 years of age were used in the analysis. The data analyses are based on statistical methods: descriptive statistics, t-test, chi-square, and probit model analysis. This study employed the concept of adequacy and stability to measure the economic security of the elderly. There are five categories based on the economic security, which are income poor, net worth poor, income and net worth poor, liquid asset poor, and income and liquid asset poor. The impact of health status on the economic security of the elderly were measured through a probit model analysis as well as the analyses of the trends of the economic stability, the statistical differences between economic and health conditions by the socio-demographic factors, income and asset sources holding of the each type of elderly poor. Some policy implications found out the successful elderly later life strategies through the results of the study, and contributed to substantial improvement lead to a sense of well-being are made.
