국문 초록

이 연구는 그람시 사상에 담겨있는 시민교육적 요소를 분석하여 한국적 상황에 적용 가능한 시민교육론을 제시하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 시민사회는 지배집단과 피지배집단의 헤게모니 전략이 평가받고 도전받는 경쟁의 장이며, 시민교육은 대항 헤게모니 구축의 가장 중요한 역할을 담당하게 된다. 이러한 시민교육의 주체인 시민은 역사의 창조적 주체이자 의식적 존재이다. 따라서 시민교육의 목표는 이러한 비판적 주체인 시민을 양성하는 것이며, 이는 변증법적 교육원리로 구체화된다. 이에 따른 교육내용으로는, 지배이데올로기의 허구성 자각, 허구적 이데올로기로부터 철학적 세계관으로의 전환, 개인적 의식을 집단의지로 발전시키는 것 등이 포함된다. 이를 한국 현실에 적용해보면, 분단의식과 발전주의로부터 통일의식과 생태적 가치로의 전환, 수동적 세계관으로부터 변증법적 세계관으로의 전환, 개인주의로부터 공동체주의로의 전환, 이론으로부터 실천으로의 발전과정 등을 들 수 있다.

영문 초록

The research of this thesis is to suggests civil education focusing on Gramsci's theory. Gramsci was caught the state for the superstructure, analysed to the civil society and set up its new strategy. Gramsci suggested to the civil society at which the place occurred struggles for hegemony between rulers and ruled. He emphasized the role of civil education in hegemony transition procedure. He defined citizen as a conscious and dynamic subject struggling for acquiring their rights and duty. Based on the development as above, We can make following conclusions. First, the aims of civil education si to rear critic citizen and the principle of civil education is dialectic development of cognition. Second, the purpose of civil education gave awakening consciousness by understanding dominant ideological concoction and create and spread new hegemony by civil education. Third, Gramsci thought the civil education should play an important role in creation of counter hegemony. Fourth, In Korea, civil education should play an important role converting the divided consciousness to a unified consciousness, fetishism to a ecology, individualism to a community spirit. Fifth, civil education must go forward to dialectic education to overcome fixed and implanted ideology.
